The Co-Construction of Teacher and Child Subjectivities: A Psycho-Social Exploration
This project follows teacher–child interactions across a school year to explore how their subjectivities gradually emerge through these encounters and how this influences children’s engagement with education. Grounded in psychoanalytic theory and a psychosocial framework, it examines the interplay between internal (the affective and unconscious) and external (social discourse) worlds. A semi-ethnographic approach follows their everyday experiences across a school year.
