Sarah Williams

Sarah is a senior lecturer in nursing at AUT with extensive experience in paediatric community nursing across clinical practice, leadership, education, supervision and qualitative research. She has led quality improvement initiatives supporting community health services for children and families. Her research focuses on the intersection of education and health, especially primary schools and early intervention, including the role of school nurses in student wellbeing and collaboration across sectors in Aotearoa New Zealand. Originally from the UK, she trained at St Thomas’ Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital and is an alumnus of the International Council of Nurses Global Nursing Leadership Policy Programme.
